Spreads via email by grabbing email address from infected system and sending itself to the gathered list via it/s own SMTP server.
Is a mass-mailing worm.
Creates a backdoor that allows unauthorized access.
Has a Folder icon to appear as a folder instead of a file. |

Any peer-to-peer file swapping program. When used with Shared access such as an office enviroment, can degrade network performance and consume vast amounts of storage. Security concerns are rasied as access can be granted to internal documents. Often bundled with Adware or Spyware.
DOWNLOADER
A program designed to retrieve and install additional files, when run. Most will be configured to retrieve from a designated web or FTP site. Typical payload includes Spyware and Adware stub launchers.
